That's exactly what I thought.

For me, currently yes - MGS3 is not only the best game on the PS2 but I'd also go a step further and rate it as the best game of this generation*. It's like the culmination of everything the current consoles have been heading towards. It's got so much depth of gameplay it's not true.

And HOW can they get visuals like this out of a PS2.. it's incredible.

You think MGS3 is the best PS2 game ever, Cycloon and I don't.

Let's leave it at that.

Personally I'd wait for SC3.

MGS has too many quirks (Not being able to move whilst in first person being the main one) which annoy me.

If I had to put the 3 games in order:

1st: MGS3 = Gran Turismo 4
(MGS3 has one of the best endings in any game I've ever played and I've been playing games for....christ, 25 years..., GT4 has more longevity)
10th: GTA: San Andreas
(10th because I can think of another 7 games that can cover 3rd - 9th place, but like any opinion it's subjective).

That's not what it's about. I was simply saying that me and U.S gamers think of MGS3 as the best game on PS2, and I have nothing against other people's opinions, I just don't like changing the facts. Like the fact that on U.S chat forums MGS3 is hailed as best game on PS2 , now I've been on some forums myself, and I saw it.

That's because MGS has always been a film in game form.

It's also because you're an MGS fanboy.

No, the fact is that you really need to sit down and take a few deep breaths.

You're getting worked up to hell just because someone's disagreeing with you or they have a differing opinion on something.

Lighten up. So you like MGS3 above anything else, good for you. Stop snapping at people who don't share your affection for it.
