There are pirates, there's pirate ships, shipwrecks you can explore, hell, even a quest or two where you hunt for lost treasure, and if you take up fishing as a proffession you'll be able to catch or cook certain types of fish that'll make you look like a pirate.

Looks to me like that Jaina was trying to tempt you into her elfy bed to remove her level 16 chastity belt.

After killing all the vendors in Darkshire I ended up 'grouping' with an Alliance and helping her do a quest..

Now you can witness clumsy attempts to communicate the quest details using only emotes, and my rubbish attempt at using 1337.
