You have to love the stock market, i bought 100 Marconi shares just after they took a battering on monday at 531.35p and now they are 564.50p. Its not exactly a fantastic profit, but if they return to their former glory i will have a nice little sum.

Marconi were, at one point, less than 10p a share.

If you spent the same amount of money buying shares then and sold them now...

Just out of interest what are bt at, my grandad has 1000 shares, and i told him to sell them a couple of years ago when they were worth £15 each.

You gambled £500+, you are up £30+, i'm not sure i'd be so pleased when the broker takes a cut, but i dont know what they were before, so well done.
