If you haven't got one then go for 03/04 because it has had the bugs ironed out. If you buy Champ Man 4 you need to download loads of patches.

Will it? I've never actually bought a Championship Manager game - so I'm deciding which to get for the new season.

cm 03/04 is infinitely better than 4. 4 has a ridiculous number of problems and is pretty unbalanced. 03/04 reaches the heights expected of champo.

for the new guy. football manager is actually championship manager 5, as it is the production team who no longer have the rights to the champo name but still own the game data and engine.

Yeah - they asked people to design a logo for the new game and the winner got his entry chosen along with £10,000. Not bad, eh?

Top stuff.

Although tis much better two player than one player. Whereas CM series suck at multiplayer, but are great single player.

Still methinks I prefer T to the C to the M.

I've got every game from the Championship Manager 2 (retro) through 97/98, 98/99, 99/00, bla bla to CM4. I wasn't really impressed with CM4 and so therefore did not bother with 03/04.

Too much of my life was wasted away on that series I tell you, so perhaps its a good hting i didn't take to 03/04.
