Bung five of them in the PC, and hey presto, 125 GFLOPS all crunching away. All I have to do is develop a Fortan compiler in C.

You may have figured this one out by now. Erm, it depends on what version of Windows you have, I wouldn't have thought so with XP, but probably with anything else.

You should get a two tone blue icon in the system tray, which when right clicked gives you a bunch of options.

The way to tell if it is running is to just hover the mouse over the icon, if it says sleeping or snoozing then it isn't, else it will give a percentage and some other info.

It takes time for jobs to complete and you need a certain amount before it automatically sends some through to be recorded.

Oh, you mean actually not working working? Oh. Erm, look for the THINK icon.

All depends on what jobs you get. I had a HIV job that ran for 82 hours, but it racked up a huge amount of points.

See how long what lasts? The battery? A fair bit, it will use power saving and reduce the clock speed. Or if you mean the laptop before it sponateously combusts, well mine lasts fine running overnight.

Look at that, I did the most amount of jobs in the least time. And that's the only miserable record I have, so here endeth the convo.

Actually, I might switch it on today, I want to see how long it lasts while scorching underneath.
