"Voyeurism"

There is a program on channel 4 at the moment talking about the subject.

Well, while we are all actually voyeurs, i.e. you see a nice looking female/male (by that I don’t mean a hermaphrodite), walking down the street in some tight jeans; you do turn and have another look.

But this program is showing the “hardcore” voyeurs. Now, I don’t mind people who are like-minded meeting up and watching each other, or taking pictures pretending that they don’t know, you know, fake voyeur, but this is showing how technology has impacted and now every 1 in 1000 women in the UK has probably been snapped in the nude.

Now, that may not sound like a large sum, but they are being snapped in places that are supposed to be private, dressing rooms and such. Also, just think, that 1 in 1000 could be your sister or mother or something.

What are your views on the whole thing?
Also, this is a family forum, but I think if handled maturely this subject can be discussed on here.

Well here's the scenario (an all too common one) -

you are off duty, enjoying a few pints with your mates in town. one of your mates is quite drunk, falls and knocks a girls drink out of her hand. she starts shouting and bawling, and eventually starts punching him. her boyfriend is nearby shouting 'if he touches her I'll break his legs'.

what does your friend do? he is cornered and cannot escape?

this has happened to a friend of mine and is a common occurence I would say.

Not so rare, actually there's a wide range of people into different things and after different qualities. Strong women after strong men, weak women after weak men, strong men after weak women (and vice-versa for all).

It's not that simple. You have no idea how many domestics we go to where there is a woman beating her bloke up.

Some people seem to like it though, it's beyond my understanding, anyway as i said i like girls to be girly, and while i try to avoid getting into a stereotpye, as a bloke it is a natural cro-magnon reaction to want to be able to protect your woman, i'd imagine if you dont need to it would leave your masculinity damaged and feeling a bit unneeded, we have a natural paternal side to us and it needs to be fed and used.
