With the season coming to a close, i believe that a few players in particular deserve a hearty congrats for the work, attitude or performances throughout the season. Lots of dream teams, worst XI and unrecognised XI are concocted. but this is the thread that ties them all in together, to pick your personal faves from this season.

Where's Stu when you need him?!

Deco is a quality player, I know Fergie has been monitoring him since 2002 maybe he will be in United colours next season but i'd expect him to be pretty pricey after helping Porto into the CL final.

I'd like to add Van der Vaart to Ortega's list because he's another creative player who has had a decent season and needs to be at a bigger club to show and develop his real potential.

Did you see the header he missed against Blackburn? One of the worst I've seen in a while....

I will second that opinion, a bag of tricks and is actually effective and can change the course of a match almost instantly. Makes me even more angry that we lost out on him thanks to the nursery grade business practice of the United Board. I'd say we'd have won the title with him in the squad

Going around europe...

Gilardinho (amazing amount of goals in serie A for a youngster)

Ronaldinho (Best player in Europe at the moment imo)

D'alessandro (looked fantastic for argentina last week in the center of midfield...hopefully will stay in the team even when Veron is fit)

Deco (magician - and looks like europeon glory two seasons running. Stat for ya...most fouled player in the champs league this season!)

Drogba (scored 5 goals in 5 games in the champs league, should have had a couple at st.james too)
