So I bought the Zelda Collector's Edition disc off somebody, alledgedly brand new and boxed. For £20-odd.

And what do I receive? A poor condition disc with no box, manual or nothing. I've asked politely for him to return my money (plus return item postage fees) and I will happily return the item in the exact same state it was sent to me.

But he protested. I then argued further, saying that what I received was not what he described, and I am entitled to a refund or suitable replacement. Now he is simply ignoring me - evidently hoping I'll just give up.

But no. I've given this guy £20 and I want it back. What else can I do? Is there anything eBay can do? I'm not the most experienced buyer, so any help from knowledgable eBay members would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

I want the box and manual.

It's just a niggle I have. I don't like owning random discs. I'd prefer the completed collector's set.

Does the game still play in your GC?
If yes, what's the problem?

I'll take your advice Ali, and contact eBay. This guy may have registered again but under a different e-mail. I'll continue to send him e-mails anyway.

If there's no luck there, I'll just have to sell the disc on eBay. Obviously, I'll write an honest description, so I'll be lucky to get £15 for it.

Under "condition", it says "New in Box".

Before I got my digital camera, I couldn't put pictures in my item listings. But people still bid. In light of this, I thought I'd give this guy a chance, despite the lack of a picture.

Just really annoys me when you put your trust in someone and they're a complete fake. You try and have a little human faith and this is what happens. How can people be like this? It's quite upsetting, really.
