Who's the best wrestler?

Whoa, calm down. I never said he was the best wrestler in the WWE and I never judged him compared to whatever indy wrestlers are out there because I don't really know much about the independant scence. Yeah I've watched RoH and that on TWC, and it's a load of wrestlers flying around a ring for a while.
But I think Orton has the all round qualities to become a huge star for the WWE...not to say that he isn't already, considering he's over with most of the fans.
And I got my Legend Killer T-Shirt today. :P

Umm, so I must be wrong, simply because I've formed my own opinions about Orton rather than agreeing with columnists? Come on people, we're all free to make up our own minds and in mine Orton sucks as an in-ring talent, oh and on the mic as well, although I do respect that he put his body on the line in the match against Foley he certainlu didn't go as far as 90% of the indy talent out there?

Ummm, compared to the rest of the WWE maybe, but he'd never even get past being a jobber in a fed that pushes real talent and work-rate. Like Ring of Honour or CZW.

Personally I haven't seen that, and nor have many other wrestling columnists I've read...admittedly, Orton's in-ring work is perhaps nothing very special but as far as I can see it's of a pretty damn good quality.

And WCW has a ring about 25% smaller than WWE! And, lest we forget, almost every promotion uses steel cables for 'ropes', which are far more suited to today's wrestling styles anyway. Using real ropes would be ridiculous, and slow the pace down incredibly.

And this is according to whom? Best WRESTLERS? Are you kidding? Bret Hart... Chris Benoit... Eddie Guerrero... all of those guys wrestled for WCW, and are also far better wrestlers than those you've mentioned.

As has already been stated, The Rock's had a match with Goldberg, and Austin's in talks with his now good friend Bill to have a match between the two in Japan.
Do you really believe Goldberg's one of the best wrestlers ever? Is he comparable to Lou Thesz? Ric Flair, Bret Hart, and numerous others? The answer has to be... well, it has to be 'no', doesn't it? In fact, have a look at the independent scene, and there you'll be able to find countless wrestlers who are far better than Goldberg ever could be, even in his 'prime'.
