Im going to be doinmg my sats next week - im in yr 9 and am abit nervous. wish me luck!

Oh crap, SATs. No need for revision - most of the time you'll get the mark you naturally deserve. Half an hour revision may bump up your marks.

Hell, I remember studying for a hour in GCSE chemistry just before the
exam, got an A* and one of the highest of the year - but that's nothing compared to A Levels, and later on degree exams. 5 hours a night for degrees, unless you're studying a "creative" subject, psychology or English. Or architecture, in which case you have no exams at all.

SATs are exams taken at ages 7, 11 and 14 to determine how much progress has been made over each stage in education. The last ones are the most important because they are often used to gauge GCSE groupings, which is important due to the fact that varying tier entries give different grades. This is seen as important because GCSEs are the first qualifications you get, and good grades on these are seen as proven intelligence.

Are SATS some English thing?

Are they 11+s?

I do 1/2 an hour of revision in the mourning now so im ready for my test.

Slice, i did my Science SATs test today.
Where abouts in England do you live. eg. South, north, essex, london etc.
Or does everyone do the same test on the same day?

had my science ones todayi sat the 5-7 paper it was quite easy but i made a few stupid mistakes...
