I think Jabberwocky has real class in it.

I'm sure Lewis Carrol will be happy to know that his nonsense poem is approved by a nonsense person.
But... *weep*

Jabberwocky uses capital letters, apostrophes, correct spellings, has a set rhyming pattern, the syllables are well weighed up and it is a very good poem.

Yeah, one of my personal favourites too. I remember reading his stuff as a kid and just loving the absurdity of it. As an adult, I still do, but in a different way. A definitive genius, and one walking that fine line to the fullest.
On a side note, and on Carroll, I’ve just played through “American McGee’s Alice” which takes the Alice story and twists it further (she is insane, and wonderland has became an appalling place)
This in turn has made me re-read Jeff Noons “Automated Alice”, another twisted look at both Wonderland and Alice. In this case, Wonderland and its inhabitants are dying as no-one is reading the Alice books, and therefore dying in people imaginations.
I'll be up my parent tonight, picking up both "Alice and Wonderland" and "Through the looking glass" to re-read them.
Pointless mentioning this I know, but bored at work, and somehow it appeals to me that someone (and their creations) live on thought peoples imaginations, in the same way the Bald Twit Lion probably will.
