Seriously, wasn't sure if Resi 4 was going to live up to all the 'best game evar!!!' hype, but so far it has. Really is a complete turnaround for the series; the controls are just perfect, the atmosphere completely changed, and just excellent. Even the widescreen borders work to the games advantage, as it further cramps your eyeline.
It scares me. :'(

Yep, you need to press the button combo that appears to cut it 15 times. If you're quick you can do it in two tries.

Tip - Shoot the heads off loads of people, so you get lots of tentacles.
Lob a flash grenade.
Kapow.

Yup, flash grenades work a treat if you want to stun him for 10-20 seconds.

Ah, Los Giganos. Or something. Tis easy if you have the TMP, shoot him in the face and keep running. You saved the dog at the beginning too, instead of shooting him :P

Ah, Los Giganos. Or something. Tis easy if you have the TMP, shoot him in the face and keep running. You saved the dog at the beginning too, instead of shooting him :P

I'm currently stuck at a bit where there's some uber-troll thing that needs to be nullified and Whitefang jumps in as a distraction.
Best bit so far: miraculously shooting an axe hurtling towards me just after reloading my pistol...didn't even know I could shoot them! Whoo!
