It was called something like "Eldarado and the lost cities of Gold"? Seraching for it now on the web...
How about Thudercats? Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Ulysses, Battle of the Planets, Transformers, Go-Bots, Mask and Thuderbirds 2015?
Still not a scratch on Akira, which for it's age, is still one of the best.
**I miss my childhood**

"One for all and all for one,
Muskerhounds are always ready..."
Classic cartoons. Yes. But come on, Akira is far superior in every way.
I kind of lost it with Phileas Fogg, I think it dragged on for too long. What about that cartoon where those kids were looking for the lost City of Gold? Damn. Can't remember it's name... They had a flying golden eagle and everything. How cool is that?
I've tried watching them to see what the appeal is, but it just does nothing for me.
I'm well aware of Manga traditions and all that, but this is a genre that just leaves me scratching my head and wishing for the days of Dogtanian and Phileas Fogg.

Firstly, you should understand that Manga is a traditional Japanese art from (Manga is also known as "Japanimation").
It is not usually made by Westerners, so there are probably a lot of things about it that we just don't "get". Think about Bollywood movies, a different culture with a different view on how movies should be made. Same with Manga.
Just because something is a "drawing", does this exclude it from violent or sexy content? If so, there are plenty of Art galleries that should be shut down. People say that kids will be confused by them. Well, yes they might, but responsible adults should not be confused, so they shouldn't sell an 18 rated "cartoon" to a 10 year old kid.
I sometimes catch an episode of Pokeman (hey, I'm bored, nothing else is on, what the hell). In Pokemon, they have some kind of pseudo-dominatrix baddie girl in skimpy skin tight outfits. Now, this is a prime-time kids cartoon, but the Japanese culture that produced it is liberal enough to make it, but Westerners feel threatened, like, it's eroding out society.
Surprisingly, pubic hair is something that Japanese censors will not tolerate. Strange that.
I bought Akira years ago when everyone raved about it, and I just don't get it.
Cartoons.
Violent, maybe. Sexy..er, these are drawings.
I just don't understand.

The confusion

Many people

Manga Entertainments seem to release a lot of gross,
> this is because they purchase the animes at their chosen target audience
> "teenage boys who watch things there parents don't want them to

You should

If you would like more information on Animes just do a search on

Please remember that if

P.S For those that think anime is for kids or sick
