Over the last couple of years films have been released to DVD about 4 months after finishing screening. Most films used to take 12 months to be released on DVD. Its just keeps getting earlier. Its far to soon to release the DVDS.Does anyone have anything to say about this?

DVDs should be available to buy as soon as the film has finished showing in the cinema, allowing those of us who don't get to go to the cinema to see it as soon as possible.

It's all down to money though.

Nah, I don't think it's too soon. The fact though that is usually takes 3-4 years for decent films to come out on the terrestial channels is what bugs me.

I would say it's certainly worth the investment, especially if you enjoy watching your films.

Speaking of which, did you get to see BR2 in the end?
