Right I'm 17, and lookin to see Dawn Of the Dead tomorrow. Does anyone know how strict they are about ages in the cinema? Will I get turned down if they are suspicious? Or thrown out? Anyone had any bad experiences? Cheers for the lowdown.

i can't see why if they where just slightly suspicouis they would get out of there cosy booth thingys to stop you coming in.

i went in once and although i was old enough they asked my age i hesitated for 5 seconds, stummered (thinking of something else) and they didn't even ask again.

Pha, downer. I laughed nearly as much as I did at Shaun of the dead. It's a really entertaining movie. ;)

Well i didn't intend on paying, i had two free viewing passes. But I'm not going tonight now, my mate has backed out now, and i was relying on him for a lift. He'd rather watch the footie. And when i'd finally persuaded my bro to go, he then said he'd rather not, whilst i was talkin to my mate. So that swayed him. God i'm angry, i really wanted to see the film!!

*shrugs* I've been watching 18 rated movies since I was 14. It's never been a problem for me. If you're 17, I can't see them quibbling. Just don't act nervous, have the correct cash for two adult tickets ("how much is that" is a dead givaway) and thank them when the tickets are habded over.

[dit] Not that I'd suggest you break the law or anything mind.
