So we all know that tag teams don't last, but when a tag team goes, it really does need to be replaced with an equally as good tag team.
Tag teams like the Hardyz, Dudleyz, Edge and Christian, Brothers of Destruction, Team Angle, Three Minute Warning, New Age Outlaws...I could go on; have all been split up in the past. But they haven't been replaced, which is really what needs to have been done.
Now we are left with only a few tag teams, and not very strong ones at that. Tag teams which have been thrown together.
We don't have the Hardyz, E & C, Team Angle, Acolytes anymore. Instead, we have tag teams which have been pretty much thrown together. Sometimes it works well...Booker T and Goldust for example. But sometimes, I sit there wondering which fool made these two team up.
We don't have many natural tag teams which could be put back together.
Edge and Christian could, Rico could join Hurricane and Rosey to reform Three Minute Warning, and you get the picture. But others can't be put back together, due to whatever reason.
Jeff Hardy, X-Pac, Road Dogg Jesse James, Faarooq, Jamal and Goldust no longer work for the company. So instead, we need to throw more random teams together, but teams that will actually work.
Possible suggestions include Edge and Christian, but with Christian's cocky image, I can't see this working. Too Cool could reform, maybe. Now that Too Sexy is back, he could easily jump to Smackdown and join him former team mates.
Below is some of my suggestions.
I'd like to see Edge and Chris Jericho team up. Also, I'd like Too Cool to reform. I wouldn't mind seeing what's left of the Radicalz wrestle a few joint PPV tag team matches, when they drop the gold.
Generally, teams that would work well like that. Also, when a face, Kane works well with smaller people, like X-Pac and Hurricane. Speaking of Hurricane, I'd like to see him team with Matt Hardy to take on a Supervillian, in Rosey.
Come up with your own ideas. The tag division is clearly lacking, and so something needs to be done, fast.
> Why ain't you watchin backlash or whatever it's called?
I am. I done this post earlier, for another forum.
