Hi,
Is there a free version of visual basic or a 3rd party application which will allow me to program in visual basic. I dont see the point in paying Microsoft money for a language i might not get on with.
Thanks
James

Ok, I did it for you:

http://www.realsoftware.com/download/ 19.5mb

Its also cross platform, so programs you make will run on Linux and MacOS.

Does this allow you to code in Visual Basic or just BASIC?

Have you used it?

yeah, I have been doing it for 2 months and I pretty much know it all now.

I am starting on C/C++ and PHP now, but VB is an excellent starting block for any programmer imo.
