And the czechs always come out on top.Oh and holland won in germany a couple of weeks ago, i believe.

The last England squad was bad too, which is why we never seem to win friendly matches. No-one cares about them though.

Friendly games dont cont. Most of the time the countries put out 2nd string teams. Dont get me wrong, i think the czechs are great. I had a bet for them to win euro 2000 becasue the odds were so good with them being in the group of death with France and Holland but i dont think they will get out of the group stage this time either.

On another note its quite amazing how the Czechs are seemingly stuck together with Holland like glue! Paired together in the group stage of euro 2000, they were in the same qualifying group with them for euro 2004, are in the same group for the tourny and are in the same group for world cup quals 2006!

just that 8 or 9 game streak under the new manager where they played top class opposition and won most of them and drew the rest, then. they're my underdogs for going quite a way in the comp.

They might not have beaten any world class teams, but they done a hell of lot better than Holland and the Czechs who wernt even there. How you can say there is no chance of the Germans beating them is beyond me. Holland are just a team of individuals who on thier day can thrash anyone but even they had to go through the playoffs to qualify and managed to lose to the might of scotland 1-0 in the process. The Czechs have a world class played in Nedved but havnt really done anything since they lost to Germany in the euro 96 final.
