The sets usually contain all of Hayao Miyazaki films and shorts on around 6 dvds (or four for the subtitled only set), which are:
Spirited Away
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Only Yesterday
Whisper of the Heart
Princess Mononoke
My Neighbor Totoro
Pom Poko
Porco Rosso
Laputa Castle in the Sky
Grave of the Fireflies
Kiki's Delivery Service
Ocean Waves
Every single one of the ones I've seen so far are beyond any other anime out there. I'm tempted to get the set with both English and Japanese language options, but don't know who to get them from or how much I should expect to pay, so if anyone can recommend a place....
In the meantime, if anyone else hasn't seen Spirited Away yet, then get yourselves down to the shops and buy or rent it now!

Studio Ghibli are a highly respected animation studio from Japan, and are getting plenty of well deserved praise now from people outside of Japan.
They're usuallly described along the lines of the "Japanese Disney", but to compare the two is somewhat unfair, as whereas Disney pump out dozens of vomit inducing cash-in films every month, Ghibli craft every movie so it's nearly perfect, and give the audience a much more fulfilling experience.
They created the excellent Spirited Away, which rightly won the best animated feature Oscar at last years awards as it oozes class and imagination, and because of the attention and critical acclaim Spirited Away received, many more of Ghibli's films are being noticed.
Princess Mononoke is another of their more famous movies, as it's been available on dvd in the UK and US for some years and it's a very popular movie. Some of their other films are now making/have made it onto dvd in the UK and US, so are more available to Western audiences. Kiki's Delivery Service (available in the UK) is about a young witch on a journey of self-discovery when she leaves home to develop her witching powers by moving to a picturesque town by the sea. Castle in the Sky (also available in the UK) is a rip-roaring high-flying adventure movie about discovery, airships, sky pirates, caddish villains and a lost floating city.
My Neighbour Totoro, Porco Rosso and Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind are coming to region 1 dvd at the end of August.
All of those films mentioned were directed by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli.
The Cat Returns (a Ghibli production not directed by Miyazaki) has been shown at selected cinemas in the UK.
Grave of the Fireflies was produced by Ghibli, but again with no input from Miyazaki. It's a very moving tale of Japanese orphans surviving the hardships of WWII alone, and probably the most moving film I've ever seen.
The next major theatrical movie from Ghibli is Howl's Moving Castle, which should be released in Japan during the summer I think and is directed by Miyazaki.
If you're a fan of animated movies and want something better than the usual Disney guff, or just good quality movies in general, you should check out some Studio Ghibli

Secondly, why are the films so good to watch?
I have to say both Spirited away and Kiki's Delivery serive were fantastic. I've yet to watch Castle in the Sky.
Being an Anime fan in this country sucks. I know we are getting more releases over here, but they are so expensive. Most seris give you 4 episodes for £20. I find it hard to afford to buy very many.
Any recommendations from people would be gratefully recieved.
YesAsia.com is quite a good place to look for Eastern dvds.
And yes, Spirited Away rules muchly.
