Got my "Hero" dvd today. Fully chinese and brilliantly presented. I just hope the English translation is not too bad as I haven't had a chance to bung it in the player yet. ;)

Right. This time, work..................

A summary of a small part of my day today:-

. heard letterbox bang
. told dog to shut up
. put down cup of coffee
. switched on chair
. dialled speed control to maximum ("5")
. sped to hall door
. opened hall door
. spotted DVD shaped package on hall carpet
. manoeuvred chair next to package
. reached down and grasped package
. straightened up, clicking several times
. opened package
. cursed

But, at least I can watch Matrix: Revolutions again.

Just killed the three assassins did he? I usually like films where the main protagonist kills four but in this case I'll make an acception.

It sounds purdy darn good.

Synopsis:
Nameless travels to see the King of Qin to report he has managed to kill 3 notorious assassins all after the King's head.
King asks how, Nameless relates in colour-coded flashback.
Think Rashamon, but with incredible, stunning, beautiful imagery and jaw-dropping swordsmanship.
No kung-fu at all, not that sort of film.

I'm please to have introduced this movie to a few people here, it's one of the best hardly-seen movies of recent late. Although sure to change in August when it's released here after 2-3 years.

Can you supply me with a synopsis on Hero? Not a film I know of.
