Do you think there would be less road accidents if in the middle of every steering wheel there was a large metal spike, instead of an airbag?
As soon as there was the first sign of an accident, the spike would be fired straight through the drivers head, killing him instantly.
I think it could be a hit, so to speak...
Thoughts?

Ho ho, surely if the spike killed the driver, the car would continue into said crash!
