"I have a dream that one day my Playstation games will be able to play on the same console as my Nintendo games!"

Think about that adaptation of my Martin Luther King quote long and hard..................that enough? Well this is not to do with racism in America but to do with the main gaming companies getting along with one another and create the KING of all consoles.

I say this could be a possibilty in the future, but maybe some time yet. Since upcoming looks to be the biggest conclusion in gaming history, the realease of the Gamecube and X-Box at same time and see how the PS2 competes with them both. After that millstone who knows they may decide that the WAR is pointless and to unite together in the only thing they are interesting in ...making money.

It would make perfect sence for them to unite (Nintendo, Sega, Sony and Microsoft) because then they would no longer need to worry about the threat of competitors or as much advertising that is needed at present so they make more money and thats the key for them to join together money... Although this leading to the only downfall of this dream. It be they would own the gaming market and they could increase prices as often as they please because they no longer need to worry about winning the market.

Enough of the disadvantages - The advantages for gamers is endless. You would only ever need to part with your money to own the console every 3 years or so. You would have an endless choice and supply of games, no different games for different consoles. The games would always keep coming no shut up shop like the Dreamcast. Of course the best would be that you would have the KING console. All of the best gaming companies in the world sharing their own knowledge to make a masterpiece - A bit of Sony knowledge there a sparkle of Sega there. The games would also be endless, because they would only need to produce them for one console so before when you wanted a game for the Playstation but it was only on Dreamcast then that hazzard has vanished.

So there you go my dream! I have my doubts if this ever would happen but yet again as I said there is a possiblity and if so, it looks like gamers like myself will have a dream come true.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
