Looks like the guy will be facing some disciplinary action for daring to tell the truth and calling Uriah Rennie useless after missing about 76 blatant penalties for Wolves against Bolton.

I'd just like to know why? For one he's talking about Rennie here and everyone knows how useless this muppet is, he makes D'Urso look competant and that's no mean feat and secondly he's just expressing an opinion here. With all the abuse ref's get during the game surely calling him useless at the end of the game doesn't hurt the little hitler's feeling and make him cry in the corner with his full time cup of tea. Plus also what happened to freedom of speech? I could understand him getting a fine or something if he went on tv and swore every other word while saying how rubbish Rennie was but all he said was *he was useless* Hardly anything little timmy is going to be shocked by, especially not when you consider the language in playgrounds nowadays.

Obviously the jobsworths at the FA trying to be seen that they're actually doing something.

Yea he's actually good at his job, it'd be a totally different experience for the players to have a decent ref for once

True, but it'd be one less Derby match to look forward to and a nice easy 6 points.

I don't think Collina would suit the style of play in England, to be honest. One aspect of it is, is that in Italy, the relationship between the referees (particularly Collina) and the players is a good one - I don't think I've seen a game gone by without a player and a ref being friendly towards each other - you know what I mean.

I know it can be the same in the Prem., but it happens rarely.
None of that made sense, really, but what the hell.

Only trouble is that Jones has lost vital point(s) in fight for relegation.

I think Uriah Rennie now faces being "investigated" by the FA for his performance at the weekend.

To me, he's always been one of our better ref's who won't truly desereve whatever he does get. So-many others, not up-to-scratch, will be getting away with it... It's about time they started doing something about it all though! :P

Credit to Dave Jones for speaking the truth, saying what he truly felt and not being scared of the "threat" of the FA. He goes right up there with good old Neil Warnock from last season! :)

There were rumours of him coming to England earlier on, but it's seemed to have died down.

It'd be great if he did come to referee over here.

Well, he did write a big book on the rules of the game, so he must have been winding up towards his retirement.

Should come over to England then and ref here. It'd be quite interesting to see him and Keano square up
