Looks like the guy will be facing some disciplinary action for daring to tell the truth and calling Uriah Rennie useless after missing about 76 blatant penalties for Wolves against Bolton.

I'd just like to know why? For one he's talking about Rennie here and everyone knows how useless this muppet is, he makes D'Urso look competant and that's no mean feat and secondly he's just expressing an opinion here. With all the abuse ref's get during the game surely calling him useless at the end of the game doesn't hurt the little hitler's feeling and make him cry in the corner with his full time cup of tea. Plus also what happened to freedom of speech? I could understand him getting a fine or something if he went on tv and swore every other word while saying how rubbish Rennie was but all he said was *he was useless* Hardly anything little timmy is going to be shocked by, especially not when you consider the language in playgrounds nowadays.

Obviously the jobsworths at the FA trying to be seen that they're actually doing something.

Though only when both parties agree, of course.

Even though he's widely regarded as the best ref by the players themselves. I think they're the best judges.

Exactly. That's another thing about what I was saying - because the diplomacy, if you will, between Italian refs and players is so good, the referees seem to be a lot better at their job. The whole thing between players and refs makes football itself seem like it's being played the way it should.

Not always. There's been the odd occasion when Collina's made a mistake, and Irish-commentator-who's-voice-and-tone-is-bloody-annoying has commented that, and I quote (from memory. My wonderful, accurate memory), "Yeah, he's maybe made a mistake there".

But yeah. I see what you mean.

I'm sure there are some referee who are just as good. I'm sick of people jumping the gun and saying Collina all the time.

because Collina's so good when he makes a mistake it actually turns out to be the right decision. He is the god of all referees

I'm just saying - Commentators appauld the Collina when he does it, and they blast Renie when he does it.

Because Collina does it once a game, if that, Rennie does it virtually every minute.

What amazes me is how Collina can make mistakes and he's applauded for letting play go on, where as someone like Renie can do it and he's incompetant.

Of course, Collina is far more skilled,but I'm just saying.

And maybe if they did their job instead of being as useless as a chocolate tea pot they'd get respect

If refs over here got respect, maybe they'd be able to do their job?
