Really captured his amazing mind and childlike view of the most complicated theories of the universe, aswell as his sense of humour.
Commercial recognition that is more than a little belated.
It has spurred me to have another read of his two books, "A brief history of time", and "the universe in a nutshell". I admit quite a few parts of it were beyond my intellect first time around, even when he was using simple terms. Great stuff though.
> I was unable to watch the BBC4 one, what was that about?
Aww you should have seen it, I'm glad I managed to catch it. You watch the drama of it then you see the reality of it. It was about him, talked about his marriage, his life, interviews with his mum, wife, friends, people you saw in the earlier program, the man himself. About the book he wrote mainly to earn some money because they were doing so badly. They also went on about how he was an icon for science, such as those adverts he did. He wasnt an Einstein or a Netwon but he's very good at what he does and he's still at it.

Anyone interested?
I don't mind them dramatizing it a bit, it was said at the beginning that a lot of the scenes and dialogue were fictional, but overall the story is correct, and it's certainly an inspiring one.
There were a fair few eye-rolling moments.
