Welcome to the Retro thread. I know 10 years ago is hardly retro, but hey, I think there are others around here who would like to discuss the old times.
I dunno if this will take off, but it's worth a shot.
Use this thread to talk about:

World Championship Wrestling(Not the WWF version)
Extreme Championship Wrestling(again, not the WWF version)
World Wrestling Federation(Everything before the name was changed to WWE, but essentially the Pre-Attituide era and the Attitude era)
Any other retro wrestling moments/memories opinions.
Links to archived results etc.

Please DON'T use this thread to talk about:
Any WWE stuff.
NWA-TNA.

You get the picture.
Enjoy!(maybe)

I won't bow down to you, just because I don't remember the Dynamite ID.

Van Dam looks a lot better than Vanne Damme by a mile.

As for the Benoit thing, it would be more likely to be called Air Atlanta the way things are going.

Tazz had to change his name due to copyright reasons, that is ECW owned the Taz copyright. Either that, or WWE were more likely to be sued by Warner Brothers for using the name "Taz".

Notice also that RVD used to spell his surname "Vanne Damme" in ECW, probably due to his likeness to the once-famous actor.

Hunter Hurst Helmsley in black pants, knee length boots and white frilly shirt with long blonde hair.

Am I remembering retro or having a nice fantasy?

Changing the subject I think Benoit should call his diving head butt back to Air Canada like he did in WCW.

Also why did Tazz change his name from one Z to two Zs when he came to the WWF?
