Greeting Pc Geniuses, may i borrow your knowledge for a sec.

Basically we want to set up a wireless broadband connection to 3 machines however i have a quick question of what is best to buy?

this network will primarily be used for sharing broadband with maybe a bit of copying files etc from each computer, and maybe the occasional game.

Just wondering what you would recommend? will a ten MB network more than surfice or iss a 100 mb network a far better option?

eg: this bad boy:

I have the same as Bullett, never had any problems.

Fast, reliable, and good support. Though, I would upgrade to the latest firmware if you do get it- it had a tendency to crash after a few hours intensive use (ie. me playing games).

I've got this:

A bit pricey, but it's fantastic and easy to use.

thats fine, i have a 100 mp hub we can use if file transfers do become a key issue, if its cool for games and net its cool for me.

ebuyer are pretty reliable and its got good reviews and people tend to be brutally honest on there so its good enough for me

any other opinions?

Personally I would go (well, I DID go) for the faster 802.11g, but bear in mind that Netgear product does not include any kind of modem. That Ebuyer modem/router is suspiciously cheap.

Either speed will be fine for internet sharing and network gaming, although file-transfers will be mind-bendingly slow at 11Mbps.
