What's the best way to get a decent handgun pretty quickly?
This one sucks ass.

I just started the third part of the first chapter. Ran into a chainsaw wielding nutter and quickly lost my head, and I couldn't be bothered to continue. Still a great game, although it'll take me ages to finish, I still want to play it through twice, with fully upgraded weapons. As for best handgun? Apparently upgrading the one you start with is the way to go.

Pah chainsaws are easy. It's just aim for the head to stop them in their tracks.

I kind of missed most of the good village bits - them putting a ladder up / chainsaw man slicing through the door. I caught him unawares by the entrance to the farm, and shotgunned his ugly mug good.

It's easy. When they're on their own it's a simple cap, kick and slash job. In groups it's a case of look for the dynamite man and blast it while it's in his hand.

Lol I wouldn't want to go through whole villagers all over again with a limited ammo at the start..

I've also learnt now. The hard way.

That was your own fault, really.
I learned a long time - when it comes to memory cards, never, ever buy unofficial ones. Unless you enjoy being reduced to tears and wordless screaming.

The game did make me cry once mind...

Wait, or when the time comes shoot all the blue medalions you can find. Then when the Red09 becomes available sell the gun you got with the medalions and stick with that tuning it up throughout the game.

The only scary parts are when you're happily shooting the spanish and a chainsaw guy comes an inch away from you when you turn around.
