I suggest you watch it, rates highly for me. Like Hellraiser in space, or Solaris without the soppy romantic mumbo jumbo.

It's my kind of film, as is 'Sphere', which is similar in a way.

It's not too bad an effort, but I found the comic relief bloke to be amazingly irritating, and for a spacecraft of such a large size there were remarkably few locations (i.e. about 5 different sets in the entire movie)

Still. 'Tis ok, and I've seen it a few times.

I hope you didn't watch that, it's a movie so stupid it actually makes you feel stupid just by watching it, terrible.

Um similarities with the matrix, sounded like loads of the tension music was the same.

I saw a movie trailer the other day in the cinema and it was using the gladiator music.

I think he's a good actor who isn't in enough films. He's typecast in this film with the cheeky cockney that americans seem to think all us british are like.

There was a massive similarity when he was introducing the crew. He did it in exactly the same tone of voice. Even the way he ended too:

"That strange one in the corner is ?" - Event Horizon
"The little one behind you is mouse" - The Matrix

Oh, and did anyone think that Mr Smith sounded more gay than English?

there were none, although joely richardson doesn't look half bad in those military spec undies.

there were plenty of kids with mangled legs, people pulling their own eyes out and other peoples eyeballs bursting.

I can't see any similarity with the matrix, except for Lawrence Morpheus Fishburne doing his cap'n role again.

This was just the matrix in space.

It could probably pass as an extended episode of animatrix (if it were animated...)

Where exactly were the sexual scenes that were promised by the BBC just before it started though?!
