As with the previous previews, it contains the questions for the Prediction World Championship. You have until the 17th April (Saturday) to get these predictions in.

As usual, the following preview will feature some information that might help in your predictions. Also, not all drivers featured in this preview are in the Championship this year. http://www.freewebs.com/gpsr/srf1.htm for the driver line up and any other information for the SR F1 season.

San Marino is Round 4 out of the 18 races planned for this year, so it is still early days in the Championship race. At this point in the last 2 years, the driver in and around 4th to 6th places in the Championship went on to win it.

Last years race and qualifying was a total washout with rain affecting all the entire weekend. Qualifying saw Heidfeld in the Sauber take pole position, ahead of Coulthard in the McLaren and Villeneuve in the B.A.R. Out of the Championship leaders, Pizzonia managed 10th and Ralf Schumacher only got 14th in really tricky conditions. It wasn't a close session either, which is quite strange for SR F1, as top to bottom was split by 2 seconds.

The race was wet but changeable, a lot like Brazil this year. Heidfeld kept his car on the track and took a clean sweep of the weekend with a victory ahead of Wilson (NOT RACING THIS YEAR) and Button. Out of the current Championship chasers that raced last year, Ralf Schumacher and Pizzonia retired with transmission failures.

Here is some possible relevant information for your predictions:

Lap Records:
Qualifying: 1m22.877s - Yoong (2002 - Minardi)
Race: 1m24.573s - Webber (2002 - Minardi)

Previous Winners:
2002 - Trulli
2003 - Heidfeld

Top 3 Qualifying Last Year:
1st Heidfeld (Sauber)
2nd Coulthard (McLaren)
3rd Villeneuve (B.A.R)

Top 3 Race Last Year:
1st Heidfeld (Sauber)
2nd Wilson (Minardi) +2.036s
3rd Button (B.A.R) +7.425s

Top 3 drivers after Round 4 last year:
1st Trulli 21pts
2nd Raikkonen 16pts
3rd De La Rosa 15pts

Top 3 Constructors after Round 4 last year:
1= Renault 26pts
1= McLaren 26pts
3rd Jordan 23pts

Onto the prediction questions. Mike Swade won Round 3 and there is only a 4 point gap at the top. Please try to come up with 8 different drivers for the 8 positions in the qualifying and race.

Who will qualify in pole position? (10 points)

Who will be last on the grid? (10 points)

The top 8 qualifiers (1 point for driver being in top 8, 3 points for driver being in correct place)

(Example: Sato beat Salo in Brazil by +5.712s)

Quite a tough tie breaker this time round. Thank you for supporting the SR F1 Championship!

There might be a spot available soon. I usually free up a few drivers when a few people don't show any interest.

It pays to post guys. :D
