i used to like motty but now i think he's pretty crap. He states the obvious and gets it wrong quite a bit on his calls then forces the point.

Well, Motson comes up with some interesting stuff, but no one can beat Pearce for enthusiasm. On Radio Five Live he goes mental whenever an attack is launched and on Robot Wars he used to go crazy when a robot got set on fire. That is the reason for his superiority.

The channel 5 screen graphics look really cheap too.

I reckon Pearce is decent too, a little over the top at times but he's a lot better than what the BBC and ITV have to offer.

I love it personally. Motson/lawrenson types send me to sleep. David pleat is the worst though. I've never heard his tone of voice change....just blah blah blah.
