So far I love it, the inclusion of the M9, empty magazines and dirty books makes for a much more tactical experience. Also this looks stunning and battle animations are much more fluid than the original. Also with a larger array of offensive moves shootouts with Snake are really fun and less "I go boom he falls to hte floor" so everyone who starts biatching about it not being as visually arty please STFU.

1 bad thing though - The original alert music's been taken out.

No. Not at all. He's a huge Anime fan...

Where does Nintendo come into Anime?

Yup. Twin Snakes might not be as 'pure' wa wa, but then again, was it ever supposed to be FFS?

Was it supposed to be the definitive MGS?

No, it was the original, tarted up and expanded and altered for the Cube.

OMG!

Oh stop taking it so seriously!

It was a nice touch, and the sort of thing Otacon as an ubergeek might have lying around his lab.

I don't like how they took out some of it. Still rocks though, Grey Fox redeeming him self > All.

They angered me muchly. I mean really.

You can't take Otacon seriously when he's discussing nuclear weapons and how it's going to be the end of the world etc, when there's a Mario and Yoshi doll sat behind him waving, and in their primary colours, stick out like a sore thumb.

Not good.

Yeah for me it was all the good bits of MGS2, but with an actual game attached. And a very good game at that. People who complain about it not being as 'pure', as 'beautiful', are the same people that complain that Resi 4 is too different to the old Resis, aka sad.
