Same here. Punk is good, but metal is better: It's a developed taste. Strangely enough, Sum 41 list Iron Maiden as as musical influence...

Well, not so much that, the fact is that in the past few years it has come back as the music of skaters. In that way, it's not longer really punk.

Punk is pointless it used to be about rebelling now it is just a style of music.
Sigh 'better than' blah blah we all have our different tastes in everything.
Good Charlotte were taken in by the pop crowd and little girls, which made some of the punk followers turn there backs on anything they do now. but i think some of it is quite good

I'm not really a big fan of punk, although I do listen to The Offspring, The Clash, The Sex Pistols and Green Day.
However, I despise Good Charlotte- Thier vocalist sucks, thier music hasn't got that much skill put into it, and it sounds a bit immature in general. but they are young, so they will learn- But it took Blink 182 10 years to grow up...
