Same here. Punk is good, but metal is better: It's a developed taste. Strangely enough, Sum 41 list Iron Maiden as as musical influence...

Could be right there, I liked Sum 41 and a bit of Blink 182 but I grew out of it and into metal.

Well, not so much that, the fact is that in the past few years it has come back as the music of skaters. In that way, it's not longer really punk.
I jest, they suck.
And Punk is also poor, nowadays.

There's a pure version, and then there's the sanitised one that everybody who's anybody loves........
However, I despise Good Charlotte- Thier vocalist sucks, thier music hasn't got that much skill put into it, and it sounds a bit immature in general. but they are young, so they will learn- But it took Blink 182 10 years to grow up...
