That's true, I do test for both browsers, but it's annoying because some of the stuff I'd like to publish I have to leave out - or make 2 copies and redirect depending. I've also never tried Web Opera, or any other browsers, so I wouldn't know how the pages would act in them.

Um...when doing design work, the idea is that you check it works for both Netscape and IE, else you're cutting out about 2/5 of your potential viewers. Wouldn't be a problem if M$ hadn't tried to reinvent the HTML standard with a load of tehir own tags...but Netscape has some too, like the immensely annoying .

I always use IE for design because Netscape is utterly useless. Half of the scripting doesn't work in it and the view source brings up the source code, but it can't be edited. On the other hand Netscape does seem to run .gif animations slightly faster than IE. My workplace also has Netscape as default, but we run MS Outlook for the mail package - this makes mailto forms go wrong on web pages.

At work Netscape is installed as a default browser. There are several web based applications that will only run properly with Netscape, so I have to.

I also installed IE to use whilst Netscape freezes, and for general web browsing, because it's faster. That may have more to do with having different proxies set for each browser though.

At home I use IE because it game with Windows 98. Netscape didn't.

IE, but here at work we have to use Netscape. As a general rule if it works in Netscape, it'll work in IE - we still check them both though.
