Suppose it would as you dont know any better. Before I got my new PC 10 months ago I had a crappy 15" monitor which I still have connected as a 2nd screen and it looks aweful, crappy colours, fuzzy etc. But to me it looked alright when I was using it. Actually I dont know why I have it connected as a 2nd monitor as I never use it for anything, as I thought I might play movies on there while I could use the main monitor to do Uni work or surf the internet, but I have never done that in the 10 months I have had the new PC.

So what do you have it on? I find 85hz is nice as when I use my friends monitor which is on 60hz it looks terrible.

My 19inch Samsung SyncMaster 957MB can only do 100hz at 1024x768, and this monitor is a excellent one.
120hz seems really high. I use 1280x960 at the maximum 85hz for that setting.
*WickedWare quickly changes it to 100Htz*

Thats a lot of pain. ;)
Does 120 Hurtz at that said resolution sound right to you?
Oh, and is the only negative thing about setting high refresh rates the increased power consumption? A higher electric bill? lol.
