My birthday has recently passed and I quite luckily got £50 of birthday money all together.

What I decided to spend my money on was a game that I had been wanting for ages - Rollercoaster Tycoon.

I struck the tiny wincy little problem that you can not get Rollercoaster Tycoon for the mac (the computer that I have access to via my dad (macz rule pcs drool!)).

Now I am confused with a few choices that I have and don't know which is the cheapest and most convenient way to obtain this.

1.Buy a P.C. (probably second hand) and get rollercoaster tycoon for that.

The main problem is that you just can not get a p.c. for just £55.
I think it may be possible to get a very old one on ebay but, then I would have to get a monitor and the postage and packaging would cost something like £15 too.

2.Get virtual P.C. for the mac.

This time the main problem is that I am talking to you on a beige G3 powermac and could not run any new one or hope to run it at any kind of speed (being the processor speed around 233mhz or 256mhz (depending which computer I am on)).
The other problem is the obtaining of a cheap old version and affording RCT.

3.Get a cheap xbox and get and play it on there.
Main problem there being that xbox's aren't cheap.

I could probably get the game of RCT for the xbox rather than the console and the game.

4.I could get Themepark for the ps2 but then I would have to get a ps2 as my brother wil NOT let me use his for his game.

I hear there is a game for the original playstation and it was the original theme park but I don't know if that game is any good or not.

From what I have played on RCT and TPW they are both really good games but RCT rules by far and TPW is not so fun and it is more limited in worlds and have to have it a certain theme.Which is annoying one.

I could get Themepark world for the mac but the demo will not work on either of the computers that I have access to and the fact that if it did work it would be quite slow being that the maximum clock speed is 256Mhz.

For you p.c. users out there 266Mhz is faster than a 266Mhz p.c. because macs have a different kind of processor than pcs.

Themepark world is though.

Just because it is demanding does not mean it is any easier to obtain anyway.

RCT is all prerendered graphics so it wouldn't exactly needthe latest and the greatest 3D graphics technolog.

Roller Coaster Tycoon is not a very demanding game. My old 166mhz could run it fine.
