Bloody brilliant little rock/metal band I only heard of a few months ago. I got the album, "What it is to burn" after a heads or tails decider between that and Funeral for a Friend, and since listening to the album a few times I was glad I bought it.

It's got some rock with decent vocals (letters to you, awake), with a nice touch of screamy metal (three simple words, Project mayhem). It's worth paying a tenner for, althought you might get it a bit cheaper if you shop around.

If you enjoy the likes of Audioslave, Funeral for a Friend, Thrice, Deftones, Papa Roach, InMe or 3 days grace you will enjoy Finch.

Yup

I heard 'Letters to You' like a year before it was released.

'cos of Sibs

They're alright, but not that special I think.

They've been around for a few years. Think their first demo EP came out 2001... not sure what year their album was, ('02/'03 I guess) but I saw em March last year in Portsmouth, and by then I'd had their album a fair while, so I think it was probably '02 when it came out. Saw em at Reading too. Portsmouth was better, but they were still good. Should have a new album out soonish I've heard. Probably by the end of this year.

I'm pretty sure they've been around for a few years. Don't quote me on that though.

I saw them at Reading last year, my first gig of the festival. Pretty good band to kick my weekend off too. :)

Heh ~ When did you see them? I didn't think they've been around that long.

I saw them live once and as good as the crowd were for totally getting crazy and erm rocking out, I still think this sort of screamy metal is crap listening to on CD.

Screaming only works live. Just.
