Got it 2 for £20 with Wolfenstein (purely for Live, as single player appears to be as rubbish as I was expecting).
Now. I know this game ain't everybodies (Edgy/Albino-Man) cup of tea, but I do like these kind of things, as long as they aren't overly dark and constricted like games such as Arx Fatalis - i.e, it looks nice, is actually outside and not in dingeons (how is a dungeon, bar Zelda ones, ever epic?!) and is HUGE, but is also detailed.
Well, let me see. It's slow (as in running is pathetic at the moment) but it's terribly enthralling in a horribly over beardy way. I'm not so into RPGs that I love all the dice rolls and absoloutely infuriating sword-missing-huge-man-target, and games such as KOTOR are fantastic because they cover this kind of thing up brilliantly. However, Morrowind is so far, excellent.
Partly because of the people. They may look pretty rubbish, but there are so many of them, and while questions might be generic, this is the first offline game I've played where there are towns that actually feel like real places, simply because more than 6 people live in them (again, excepting some places in Zelda....ahhh, I love Zelda).
But the real killer for me, overriding all the un-linear play, annoyingly beardy stuff and the fog, is the map. I love maps, they suggest exploration and unknown delights, so the first time I opened up the world map, I was in sad beardy RPG heaven.
I can't wait to see what's around.
OK, I'm done. I'll leave this thread alone now.
Right now, I can take out a rat with one whack of my legendary staff.

I know what you mean. I ran out on the road to Balmora, and got set upon by a lowly worm. I hacked at it with my stolen katana (stolen of course - the freedom is incredible) and after about 3 minutes of slashing it died. Annoying, but I'm guessing this game takes just a little bit of time to get good!
Once you've got past the first boss/episode and get to the runways, dams and other german installations (rather than the egyptian stuff) it becomes a lot like Goldeneye.

What about online RPGS then or RPGs with FPS elements?

It's genius, believe me.

I predict one of the dullest games ever to grace the Xbox.
