Yes, but he was kind of the main driving force behind German nationalism in the 1930s after Jan 1st, 1933. His cronies encated his vision partly, but Hitler, *shock*, was kind of crucial, despite the fact he might not have actually done everything himself.

No, the alliance system was responsible, in particularly Germany's 'Blank Cheque' to Austria-Hungary. Princip simply 'fired the shot' (literally) that started the system off.
For example, if Germany has not invaded through Belgium, Britan would not have got involved.
However, Germany was certainly responsible for initiating WW2, although there is strong evidence that other nations could have stopped Hitler before 1939.
