Birmingham: mikael forssell
Blackburn: Brad friedel
Bolton: jay-jay okocha
Charlton: Scott parker (until he left)
Chelsea: Frank lampard
Everton: tomasz radzinski
Fulham: louis saha (until he left)
*Leeds*: paul robinson
leicester: paul dickov
Liverpool: Steven gerrard
manchester city: Nicolas anelka
manchester united: Ruud van nistlerooy
Middlesborough: juninho
Newcastle: Alan shearer
portsmouth: patrick berger
southampton: paul telfer
Tottenham: Robbie keane
Wolves: paul ince
Gardner Englands no 1 centre back. Hah. John Terry Son.
Brown? Yes he's had agreat season. Gone from scoring 22 a season from midfield, to scoring one flukey goal which should have been saved.
Keane yes. Kanoute yes if he hadnt buggered off to Africa.
5. Fredi Kanoute - This man was (WAS) bloody incredible before us before he just upped and left fot the AN Cup with very little warning. Since he came back he has not been the same, mainly because we have nto bee playing. He can't just leave us and expect to be straight back in the team, especially with the addition of one Jermaine Defoe.
4. Stephane Dalmat - This man is pure class and has helped us no end this season, however on and off he may have been. When he has played well this season, he could have matched any Premiership striker bar a few (Lamps and Gerrard), and has scored us a few screamers.
3. Anthony Gardner - This guy is going to be Englan'ds no1 centre back in a few years, he is simply pure class. He is fast, strong, great both with his feet and in the air, and his attacking at set pieces too is good. He deserves his England call up, no doubt, congratulations son, you've had a brilliant season. Fooking brilliant.
2. Robbie Keane - His flair and celebration has amused and entertained everyone at the Lane all season, and has been constantly brilliant whether it be with Kanoute or Defoe, linking up well with both of them. His dribbling has put fright into almost all defenders, and his holding up of the ball is brilliant for such a small guy. He never gives up hope, and damn do we love the Irish dude. Thanks Robbie, may there be more to come.
Most of you wil start crying that this is the wrong decision but:-
1. Michael Brown - Since joining us from Sheffield United I have been following him carefully, simply because of his 22 goals from midfield last season. And boy have I been impressed. He is so gritty, determined, skillful and most of all positive, that one day he will mature to be as good as anyone. He deserved his goal for us, simply because of his hard work, all be it a poor stop from walker (well, it's what we've come to expect).
So yes, he is:
-Skillful
-Determined
-Battling
-Gritty
-Has a good vision and can pick out a player
There are many many more, but I'm getting bored and have sore fingers.
Hats off to you Browny, you have won the 'Alec's Spurs player of the season' award. er....have a goal (one catch, you have to score it :p)
