Brazil is the 3rd round of the 18 race 2004 season in SR F1. It's still pretty bunched together at the top of the table and with the 8 drivers scoring points system, consistency is the key to the World Championship.
Let's focus on what happened last year. De La Rosa took pole position in the Senna G.P car (now MG F1), ahead of Wilson (not racing this year) in the Minardi and Trulli (not racing this year) in the Renault. From the looks of the form last year, Minardi tend to go very well in qualifying.
The race last year saw Coulthard come through from 8th on the grid to win the race. He also qualified in pole position in 2002, so Coulthard may be the one to look out for. De La Rosa got second and Trulli was 3rd.
Now we've had a couple of races, let's see how the current Championship leaders did last year. Salo is an unknown quantity as he didn't race last year. Ralf Schumacher qualified 20th and retired in the race. Pizzonia, on a run of 2 wins in 3 races, qualified 9th and finished 4th in the race.
