I hope to god you didn't have to endure "discos" as bad as the one I went past tonight. You see I had to go pick up my wee bro from Scouts when I went past a strange little party going on. It was the hall next to the hall my wee bro was in for scouts so I could hear every song being played as I stood outside in the hallway and my god it was terrible. I had to wait through 3 songs, all of which made me die a little inside.

The first was that timeless classic you expect to see your parents dancing to while absolutely reeking at a work party. It was YMCA. *Shudders*

Just when you thought things couldn't get worse though they did, drastically! Ohhh ohhhh ohhhh ohh Mysterious Girl *breaks down in tears* I doubt any of the parents would have allowed their children to go if they knew they would be subjected to that.

Finally and probably the best of the bunch although if they were fruit, I'd throw them out, it was Summer Loving from Grease. For christs sake, I mean honestly they are 10 years old, I doubt they'd had even seen Grease.

Well I'm just glad I didn't stay around for another song. Did you ever have to endure such hardship? I think I did once or twice but those memories are thoroughly repressed.

this song is pure evil. and here's why:
girls seem to love it.
girls seem to love to sing it... is it REALLY too much to ask that girls agree what key the final held note (y'know "niiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhhts") is in??? all you end with is 8 screeching harpies battling for vocal supremacy *shudder*

Ive been to disco's, but you didnt really go for the music.

You went to run around and act 10. In those days 10 year olds ran about with teenage mutant hero turtle jumpers, not Fred Perry.

I can even remember when that was it's real name!

And when Cif was Jif, Starburst were Opal Fruits and Snickers was Marathon.

Can't remember my own name, though...
