Any info appreciated, cheers.
On ebuyer, categories > cables/kvm switches/tools > network patch cables.
My, nearly £2 for a blue Belkin cable. They have gone up. Oh and they do all sorts of lengths as well, there are literally hundreds of cables.
Oh and you didn't happen to see a straight ethernet cable on EBUYER did you? Can't seem to find one.

Yeah that's the one, called an RJ 11 to be specific.

I might not respond instantly either, I managed to break my wireless router. Still, as soon as it gets back, I'm on Live. So much to download now.
I don't know what you mean about transferring the USB connection.
In the back of every USB modem, mine is a BT Voyager, you plug a small cable into the modem and the other end of that cable into the micro filter. Well you plug that cable into the back of the router instead of the modem.
Ta.
You run the cable that ran into the back of the USB modem (RJ11) and plug it into the back of the router instead. Then you take a straight through ethernet cable and plug it into the PC or Xbox and that is you.
Well you need a network card in your PC obviously, but unless you binned it, you do.
