Oops, sorry, I was sitting around before you posted that, I was refering to your first post.
I think what Sniper's trying to say is er, that a lot of people have grown up with Zep and Floyd and Genesis etc... and the rest of us have to discover them. Maybe. I think I was official translator at one point, but I never have confidence in it.
Perhaps it's not quite the same as having them creating music while you're alive, maybe. To be honest I would have loved to have Led Zeppelin suddenly spring out of nowhere and start getting airtime and interest. I'm waiting for a band to come along again that really blows me away, it sucks.
Sure, there's some great bands that continue to appear... but nothing that really kinda hits you hard. Oh well.

You can't really compare Guns N' Roses and Zeppelin
