So there you have it. I'll add the dates at which they'll be played as soon as they're decided.
And now the important part.
The Points System and Rules
Okey dokey then. Each one of you will start with 0 points, and you earn points with 2 different methods.
Firstly, through the team you've nominated. Points are awarded for wins, goals scored, if a player in your team scores the most spectacular goal (if any, judged by my fine self) plus others (all listed below). Also, however, points will be deducted for negative things, such as bookings, sendings off, a white wash, and again, more which are listed. And here, each thing is worth a different amount of points (as listed...).
Another method you earn points, and probably the most important, you make predictions on every game. Who'll score first (team and player), if anyone will be sent off and who, how many goals will be scored etc. And the important thing is, each prediction is worth a set amount of points (as listed below) depending on the accolade/difficulty of prediction. For example, who'll win is basically 50/50 (33/33/33 for draws, if you want to be pedantic), so the points that prediction is worth will be a lot less than say, which player will score first, for example.
And now, the rules. This'll be brief, as to be honest, there's not really much I need to refine. Basically, it'd be rather good of you if you could actually participate. I can't help but have the feeling that some who've signed up aren't going to give it a second look, unfortunately. But erm, yeah. I suppose that's it.
So yes, it's mandatory that you participate. There.
I'll also give a summary of the match when posting the results.
Oh, and use common sense when doing this.
Please.
So now, the points list, just so that you know what it'll involve come this Saturday (which is likely to be when I do the first leg of the first match).
Points System
Your team wins at home: 20 points.
Your team wins away from home: 30 points.
Your team scores first (if any goals scored): 10 points.
You keep a clean sheet: 15 points.
A player of yours scores a hat-trick: 50 points.
A player of yours scores the most spectacular goal: 15 points.
(Note - I may decide no goals scored were spectacular)
A player of yours gets Man of the Match: 5 points.
A defender scores (except penalties and free-kicks): 10 points.
A player of yours scores an own goal: -10 points.
You are white-washed (ie, you fail to score): -20 points.
A player is instantly red carded (no warning): -20 points.
A player is sent off after 2 yellows: -10 points.
You concede a penalty: -10 points.
And now, for the predictions part. I can't really give a totally refined and strict version at the moment, as I'll need to see how a match actually runs - whether it's realistic, or if each game is like 12-7, or 8-0. Prediction questions may change from time to time, depending upon the circumstances. I'm not really going to write anything about these, as I'll have to think about that after testing the realism etc of a CPU v CPU game.
So, thank you for your patience people.
The first leg of the first match (Bradford v Leicester) will most likely take place this Sunday (28th of March), unless stated otherwise.
Ooh, actually, I'll probably have up to 3 games per Saturday then, considering the amount of matches, and the fact they're all 2 legs.
Thanks people.

Never! I will win 5-0 with all of my goals being outside of the box and you getting 4 men sent off in the first minute. Other than that, Good Luck. *cough* You'll need it *cough*
Can we choose our squads? Like, starting 11, positions etc...
no...
You should get your points on team performance alone. I don't want to win every match and then come 10th or something because my predictions are off.

Yeah.
And basically, there's two things to play for. The prediction tourney, and the actual tourney itself.
But all points are cumulative.
