Bush yet again being exposed for the hateful war monkey he realy is by former White House CT expert Richard Clarke.

"See if Saddam did this. See if he's linked in any way," Mr Clarke quotes Mr Bush as saying in the book.

"The entire conversation left me in absolutely no doubt that George Bush wanted me to come back with a report that said Iraq did this," he added.

He also told the US broadcaster CBS that the day after the 11 September attacks, Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld called for retaliatory strikes on Iraq, even though al-Qaeda was based in Afghanistan.

"Rumsfeld said there aren't any good targets in Afghanistan," he said. "And there are lots of good targets in Iraq. I said: 'Well, there are lots of good targets in lots of places, but Iraq had nothing to do with it."

i believe that when told he needed a legal reason to go to war he said he also said something along the lines of:

"I DON'T CARE WHAT THE INTERNATIONAL LAWYERS SAY WE'RE GOING TO KICK SOME ASS"

Uh huh. Because if someone's got a book coming out, they must be lying. This is the guy who served the White House since the days of Reagan, you really think he'd make up a story like this just to sell books?

Yeah, I'm the same. Even thought I think Bush is a fake president, elected by fraudlent means and would happily risk the lives of American soldiers for economic gain, I very much doubt he and the government would let something like this happen to the USA if it could be prevented.

I do on the other hand, think that Bush only acts upon what is in his country's best interests - he strikes me as exactly the kind of person that Clarke is drawing in his report, only concerned about terrorism after it's happened to him. Now, after the USA is hit, terrorism is a 'global threat to world peace'. Hmm.

Interesting point, that it took 9/11 for the President, let alone anyone else to care about something that has been going on for decades but is only now the new world enemy...but I'm still unconvinced that 9/11 could have been prevented, or that any information on it was credible enough to take seriously etc.
