I celebrated Father's day today. Got my dad a card, a dvd, some beer, and some ale.

Mother's Day means nothing.

Ultimately it's a shallow business ploy invented by the greetings card industry like Valentine's day.

Are you going to love somebody any more just because it's a specific day? Hardly.

I got mine a DVD and spent the morning counselling my friend who lst his Mum yesterday. Not a happy Mother's Day.
