ts better and for some odd reason the colours remind me of the original design.

I'm not sure Tony, it kind of has some appeal to it and then it kind of doesn't, it could be that it probably is that the background is still white. The blue vertical and horizontal bar looks very good, but the problem is that with all the pages being so big, because there are so many links it gives the page to much space on the right hand side, maybe in some cases instead of having all the:

ukgames.com
ukadvance.com
etc
etc
etc

you could have ukconsoles.com and then people would go there and then have the choice of the consoles. this would safe a lot of scroll time and would then become more user friendly in some cases. Although on the main forum subject page this would not need to be done.

Please can I have your permission to try out different designs for the site and I will upload them onto my own space for you to look at?

Yeah, I prefer the new colours.

I'm not the most observant person around, so I'll be noticing the other changes for the next few months :-)

That's the sort of 'Sniper comment' that makes philosophers jump out of windows in very tall buildings, isn't it? :-)

Very modern though the discussions look realy old now.

The left column is great, but could you extend the blue colour to the bottom of the page if the page is exceptionally long? On the longer pages it just cuts off when the menu items finish.
Just an idea, but in no way spoiling the site...
