Suprised no one's made a topic on this already, but tis out today. I haven't got it yet - in the last month I've bought Wario, Resi and Splitters and they've kinda left me low on cash.

Those who got it today/have already imported (Psycho Fox, WS etc.), is it worth my money? I'm an RPG fan as ye may know, but an RPG fan slightly put off by all this card fighting business. So.. verdicts anyone?

Well for doing Quzman's task, you get the Pegasus Anklet which increases stats by 70, but which doesn't provide any resistance to status changes.

My pre-final boss save was bang on 50 hours, but you can add a good hour or two onto that for the whole final boss shenanigans.

Excellent, excellent game. Now I'm going to get ToS to fuel my new RPG addiction.

To anyone who's ordered it - don't be put off by the slow start to the story, it really picks up on Disc 2. I found the gam eo tbe very well paced, with you moving from place to place quickly and with fetch and carry tasks being almost absent. This is how RPGs should be - none of that power levelling and random item gathering.

About 65 hours.

I don't need sacred wine, I don't intend to let any of my characers fall unconscious, and I already had plenty of items s on each guy. Oh and none of Kalas' weapons had attack points less than 108, same with Gibari. Peanuts are quite a useful healing item if you have plenty of them to share around, they heal 980hp which is quite a lot in just one move, closely followed by broke ocan mirror and a few others can heal up to 5000hp in one turn.

Also, I didn't find the whole element changing thing a problem. Using Gibari, Kalas and Xelha, who all have weapons for every element, I was always well equipped to cope with whatever he was doing. Perhaps if only the element he had changed to was effective against him, then it would have been a problem.

My advice for anyone attempting the battle is to have a lot of healing items. Replace any weapons with less than 70 damage with something healing, and if you've got any finishers below lvl 6, dump them in favour of some healing items. The Sacred Wine is good because it revives dead party members, but peanuts, avocados, beer, the salted fish and the earth sphere are all must haves. Also, some of Kalas's swords only become available after one card has been played - I suggest dispensing with them as you can't afford to have turns where you don't do anything.

Ha, yes you did. It was a very good ending, with horrible sadness (you know what I'm talking about) and heartwarming joy all to a wonderful soundtrack.

I was disappointed with the battle music for the final 3 fights - they should have used the default battle music - it's awesome.

The whole element swapping ability (the magic thingy he used in one turn every now and then that apparently didn't have a purpose) was a waste I think, it was only water for almost all of the battle. But that didn't make it easy though, at times i was getting close to losing a single character, but luckily I had a string of healing items in a characters hand right after a deck shuffle. I told you there was a purpose to the greythornes in the game didn't I.
