My Dad has just bought free view, which is all good and that, seeing as i spend my days lazing around (meh-me and my student ways!!)

Annnnyway, what channels do you get on free view? How many? Is it any good?

Just the one. You would need a freeview box for every tv all going to seperate ariels. That's the downside to freeview, you need a good ariel reception. So putting it outside on the wall of your house is the best option or in an attic.

it's a music channel, although I've never watched it. Sky have far too many music channels every month another 2 channels pop up.

if you can get freeview then it's a bonus, better than just having the 5 channels.

I wonder when they'll shut down all the analog arials. The thing about Sky is that you would love to have it in other rooms, but it can only record one channel (unless you have Sky +) even then you have to spend 100 pounds on another digibox and a further 15 pounds a month subscription. We have 6 tvs in this house that would cost 600 pounds on digiboxes and 90 pounds a month subscription. They really should offer more than 25 channels on freeview but then you can still only record the channel you watch.

yeah I am..would be helpful with my Law Course!

E4 only show Friends and Father Ted if you're lucky. It's more of a Big Brother channel. Which is kinda sad.

Don't think you'll be interested in BBC Parliament though.
